Get it at BeerBistro perhaps? Nothing wrong with Perry doing some advance promotion - or so I assume...
it wasn't an advanced promotion. perry dropped off a couple of bottles for steve, brian and myself. doug was lucky enough to be there that day

It is a little frustrating to have case #2 and seeing person after person describe how awesome it is and I'm still waiting! I'm friggin' jealous!

Just to clear the issue- no one has recieved their case(s) of stout yet. The bottles I dropped off at beerbistro and sampled with fellow brewers at the Judge were the few screwed up label ones I got before the problem was spotted. Total bottles sampled is less than 12.
The label issue has been solved and they are now ready to be bottled next week. I assume that by the week-end they will be ready. Although I am going to attend the saturday session of Cask days at Volo, both Ralph and I agree that there will be too much going on to allow distribution of the beer at his lacatiion at that time (not to mention that most people who will attend the cask fest would be well advised to cab it).
I anticipate that the launch of the stout will be at Volo the week ending the 29th-exact date to be announced. There will be some stout to taste for all of you who have waited so patiently.

The 29th? Of October? 2005? You mean a Toronto beer event might actually take place on a day when I'll be able to go?

I guess it's not too soon to be nosey, is there a date that might work for you all next weekend (if it goes?)

Saturday 29th is not great for me, other times fine, FWIW.

Due to a family issue the Tsarina will not be able to make it to Toronto this weekend after all. The following week is good for me though. How does Thursday sound?
Please let me know

There is a whisky/beer dinner that night at beerbistro which some of us are attending. I would prefer earlier in the week, or the weekend (Saturday or Sunday).

If past Bartowel get-togethers are any indication, you will not be able to find a day that pleases everyone Perry (the difference, though, is that people just want to get their case of beer!). My suggestion would be to pick a couple of evenings over the next 2 weeks when you might be in town servicing your customers and go from there (side note: if we met you at a bar or something, I don't think you could actually be allowed to have the product on the premises, could you?). Or convince an avid beer geek who has a lot of room at home to store them for you so people can pick them up (I'm not volunteering). I'm sure you'll figure something out!

Or just leave mine at Church Key, I'll be there next week :)

Perry,

I had your IPA at the Volo cask day, thought it was really great. Unfortunately they were out of your double though... I think it was the first one emptied! (crazy bastards drinking the high-hopped, high-alcohol beer first!).

It's unfortunate that we don't get any of your products down here in London. If you're looking to expand (or enjoy road trips), the Alex P. Keaton and the University Grad Club would probably be your best bet.
