That one's been available at TBS for some time.

Speaking of TBS Smuttynose Finestkind doesn't seem to be widely distributed.

Trafalgar (like every other Ontario Brewer except Muskoka and sawdust city) delivers direct to LCBO/TBS stores. Most Ontario stuff comes direct and while it's easy to blame the LCBO warehouse for beer thats not fresh 9/10 the breweries shit/substandard/no good products that are to blame. Just saying.

Really good, but probably was better two months ago...

I don't know but I didn't enjoy it all. A cloying sweetness that seems to be prevalent in BC or northwest IPAs and I do not like it. Same with the Phillips stuff, and that awful, awful Parallel 49 Snap, Crackle, Hop. I'm obviously in the minority though considering the ratings it has on RB and BA.

I think he's saying (after having a couple, if I were to hazard a guess) that he likes Lake Effect better.

I hoped that was the case lol. It just sounded like using Fat Tug as a chaser meant that it was to wash the taste of Lake Effect out of his mouth, which would be insanity. :)

To clarify, I drank a Lake Effect directly after a Fat Tug, and while I like Lake Effect a lot, I much prefer the Fat Tug.

I guess I found Ft to be more grapefruit, 'punchier' and crisp hop wise, while this batch LE I find to be pinier and danker.

I will be reversing my tasting order tonight, and again over the next few days until I run out.
