My understanding is that we get the listing through the LCBO (hence the product number) then we can sell it to whatever grocery store/chain wants to carry it.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.

Wonder if grocery stores receive a list of these 'grocery only' beers to order from. I haven't bought a single beer from a grocery store yet because it's all the same stuff that the lcbo has. Exclusive beers might lure me in..

The way it's set up so far is that grocery stores are just added points of distribution for the LCBO. That may change... but not in the immediate cards.

I'm just curious, where do you get the heads up on these releases? I don't see any mention of them on either the new or "old" lcbo websites.

I am pretty sure that he is an LCBO employee.

LCBO releases price lists online weekly I believe, so that's probably where. See here: http://www.doingbusinesswithlcbo.com/tr ... list.shtml

Spin doesn't work for the LCBO. He's just all up in their shit.

We do have a guy here who's an employee who sometimes shows up and gives us lists of stuff that is coming in the distant future. Which is pretty cool.

My LCBO just got another shipment of fat tug, are they still selling bottles from October or is there fresher stock?

To my knowledge, this will be a regular. So I would assume this is now a 3rd new batch.

It is a regular listing, but I've never seen anything other than the October batch. I drank an October bottle a few nights ago, still fantastic.

That offensively-named beer has no place on the LCBO's shelves. I'm going to write a letter to my congressman.
