Was there yesterday and saw:

3 cases of Rodenbach Grand Cru (330ml) - $3.35

Also a from an obscure Mexican craft brewer...
Several cases of Ocho Reales Gluten-Free Pilsner - https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/ocho-real ... er/398988/
Several cases of Ocho Reales Porter - https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/ocho-real ... er/328571/
Each priced somewhere around $2.85/330ml.

I don't know what's going on but this clearance section has been on fire lately.

Seen tonight:

Mikkeller It's Alive - Lychee and wine barrel version. 375 ml $14.10. 8 bottles left

Alvinne Sigma and Phi. 330 ml $2.90. BB Jan 2019. 10 cases of each.

Achel 8 330 ml $3.25. Two different bottlings both BB 2018 IIRC. About 10 cases.

Timmermans Peche Lambic. 250 ml $2.80. About 10 cases.

Update: the Rodenbach mentioned in an earlier post is gone.

I was looking around on Monday going 'where is all the great clearance beer I keep hearing about?'

Kinda worth the trip, it's a fast route (got my 2012 Vacqueyras.)

Last week a friend mentioned finding Kriek de Ranke and Freigeist Unfiltered Kolsch. Who knows what's happening?

Hmm. Well the Achel, Timmermans and Kriek de Ranke were all recently listed as online exclusives. And as of right now the Timmermans and Kriek de Ranke are no longer listed. No idea about the Alvinne, Mikkeller, etc. Odd, but I can't complain!

I checked it out yesterday,

Still lots of:

Alvinne Sigma and Phi. Got a bunch of these and opened a phi last night. Pretty much exploded out of the bottle when I opened it, but still tasted really good.
Achel Blond and Bruin

There's some of the Timmermans, but I couldn't find any of the Mikkeller It's Alive so that one might be gone.

The Mikkeller was there last night at around 10pm when I was there. It doesn't seem to be moving at the $14.10 price point, although that is a fair price IMO without having tasted it yet. If you're facing the entrance of the store there are about 6-7 bottles on the shelves on your right side, towards the front of the store, close to where the Mexican craft bottles are stacked.

The Alvinne Sigma and Phi are tasting great and a steal at $2.90.

I got cases of those Alvinne beers back when they were first imported. Delicious, but every single bottle was a gusher. Open with caution.

Oh man, guess I missed it.

Still though, not sure if I'd get it for $14 or not. . . I'm not the biggest lychee fan.

Still about 6 Mikkellers left in the clearance section, buried amongst the wines. Lots of the Achel, Alvinne, Timmermans and Mexican beer left, along with some random Greek beer I'd never heard of.

Man, that Achel Blond is drinking as good if not better than Chimay White. Boy, I'd love to have an Achel, Chimay, Westmalle side-by-side right now, this is one of my fav beer styles. They also now have Préaris Quadrocinno which is mighty delish if you have some Peche nostalgia. Once in a while, Weston/401 drops unexpected bombs on them unsuspecting bums.

I stopped by yesterday but didn't see anything new that grabbed my eye. Couldn't find the Mikeller, even looking amongst the wine so either I'm blind or they are all gone now.

Ended up picking up some of the Achel blonde though cause I liked it so much, and more Phi. Still lots of both.

There were 4 or 5 left NYE, far left on the wine clearance shelf some of the other beer were on, second shelf down. I assume by now those few would be gone.

I checked here yesterday, and the Clearance section was moved and much smaller than before! I hope they aren't limiting what they offer. Nothing new either, just the Alvinne beers and the peach lambic.
