A recent BrewDog blog noted Toronto as one of the new destinations for a BrewDog Bar and mentioned signing a lease:

Anyone know what building they've leased?

Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

That's specifically the corner of King and River, which would be a great spot for a big brewpub. Not far from Aviary/Longslice.

While I've had generally good experiences with BrewDog, that bar list and PDF make me wonder whether they are overextending themselves. Both make it seem like they're intent on world domination, which I don't find particularly appealing (are they Budweiser, or a craft brewery?). I won't render a verdict before visiting the bar and trying the beer, but the whole race-to-open-6000-locations thing is kind of off-putting.

I will say I have had multiple friends stay at their hotel in Ohio, and they've all said the bar is great, rooms are amazing and it's just a full on fun vibe. Looking forward to the Toronto bar opening!
At the CBAC in Toronto on the weekend, someone asked Tanisha Robinson about BrewDog Toronto - no updates yet on location or date (officially).
