The La Trappe products (except the canned collab) are labelled Authentic Trappist Products, a certification which stipulates: "All products must be made within the immediate surroundings of the abbey."
Confirmed. Brewed in the Netherlands at Bierbrouwerij de Koningshoeven B.V.

Is Perth the only brewery releasing a wet hop beer this fall? There used to be more - Amsterdam and Nickel Brook but I haven't heard of any.

I had Great Lakes wet hop IPA and Bellwoods Bine Hunter (pale ale). Both were good, same hops used. Bellwoods was way hoppier. These were brewery only releases.

Trafalgar once had one, it was very acceptable the first year.

Sierra Nevada has excellent harvest ales. I grab those when I'm in Buffalo.

Collective Arts has a Wet Hop @ Brewery/Grocery stores. Muskoka Harvest Ale is at the LCBO and it's tasting better than last years in my opinion.

I saw someone review the Windswept Wolf of Glen Moray the other day on YouTube, so yeah.

LCBO won't post 2019 Christmas Gift Pack List or Items until after Remembrance Day. I tried explaining that Christmas Gift Packs start showing up in stores the last week of October but it's like they don't want to hear it. last year I saw Old Tom's Egg Nog, Beers of Scotland, Innis & Gunn Mystery Pack on shelves Oct 19th, 2018.

I don't think they should be on the shelves until after November 11. I'm on-board with the "no Christmas until after Remembrance Day" philosophy.

i'm fully on board with this but Christmas Gift Packs are limited and while we wait for the LCBO to add them to the inventory in Nov, most of the good ones will probably be sold out in stores and without a list there is no way to know how many there are. remember last year the nonsense with Samuel Smith Mix pack? sigh..

So my logical side says distribute them to the stores as soon as possible, get the inventory numbers ready, then on November 12, punch them in and move the product to the floor.

Yes, you may do it. You may call me naïve.

Not seen a single beer from the import list in-store. Has the lcbo given up altogether or are they clearing the shelves before I turn up?
