98 Weltenburger Kloster Asam-Bock
95 Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
61 Mort Subite Gueuze
Trafalgar scores 30 and Jenlain an impressive 14!!!! Liefmans scores an iwell-deserved 94 but, as their former agents, we can only say that they are not an honourable brewery and we have various financial issues with them and we hope that they don't screw McAuslan they way they screwed us! As a result, we'll drink poney piss before we drink Liefmans again...that's just my opinion and I could be wrong.

Yes, as mentioned in the other thread, I think your first two beers there Peter are top notch. I'll be glad when they arrive and I'll be stocking up for sure. I'm pretty indifferent on the Mort Subite, but obviously enough people like it, as it is back.
Don't write off the Trafalgar too quickly, most of those ratings (all 11) are a little old. I'll be curious to see what this year's is like. When it is fresh, it is a decent beer. My issues with Trafalgar have always been about consistency though...
The less said about the Jenlain the better...
Liefmans is an excellent brew. I don't have access to near enough beer to avoid breweries based on company politics, which you have discussed in detail in the past. I mean, I still drink beers you distribute even though some personal orders advertised here never showed (Sam Smith's and Rogue come to mind). So I think personally I'll take the Liefman's over Donkey piss for now.

Deja Vu on most of the offering...
HUZZAH! for the Doppel Bock though, that is one serious beer from Weltenburg in Bavaria, you can cellar it quite a while past the alleged expiry date. This beer has ventured into 100th-percentile RateBeer status in earlier times!! Not only that it tastes very good.
Some people may really enjoy trying the Mort Subite. A good hit of Lambic tartness in this (relatively) sweet gueuze. The Mort Subite Café in Bruxelles is quite famous so everyone should try one. I really do miss the Belle Vue, speaking of moderate, easy-drinking Gueuze... but at least LCBO did not reprise that other, truly horrid Gueuze they had last year. What was the point of that really?
The J Gingembre must be God's own private mystery. I simply don't get why it is back, who drinks it, or what decision was made to order it... If it were 3.25 less expensive I'd like it.
The DFH 60 minute IPA must have sneaked in past the Pleasure Nazis because of Dogfish Head's previous committments to the LCBO. Bravo! Buy lots of this all-American IPA to show the LC we care about American Pales with dazzlingly audacious hops!

Well I like the Mort Subite one. I guess I can increase my consumption of what I've stashed away. I wish the Peche were generally available at the LCBO. A bit of a disappointing release, really, from the perspective of a British-style ale lover, with one very notable exception, the outstanding DFH 60. I'll be sure to pick up as much of that as budgets allow. Also, I'm not a huge bock fan (though I like Mill Street's version a lot) but I'll be sure to give the Doppel Bock a fair try given the praise above. The Gingembre is just vile, its inclusion utterly mystifying.

The Dogfish Head 60 Minute is leaving the brewery this Friday bound for Toronto. We couldn't piggyback anything on the order as the brewery is still struggling to meet U.S. demand. With their recent expansion we hope that we'll be able to do so later this year and then look to expand to other provinces as well.
