Couldn't find many mentions so I thought I'd start a thread after visiting a couple of times this year.
Red Tape is cozy little brewery located at the corner of Main St. and Gerrard in TO. Their "thing" is to brew custom beers for special events (weddings, showers, etc.) which is a unique niche. But they also have a nice taproom with a number of beers available for sit-in or to-go. Husband and wife ownership and it was nice chatting with Sean when we were in there this week for some holiday crawling. No kitchen so outside food is welcomed.
It's also conveniently located just south of both Danforth GO and Main St. station, so makes for a good brewery crawl first stop, with Godspeed and others directly westbound towards downtown.

A nice spot and worth a check out.

At $12/335ml I'm making sure they brew me a bourbon-barrel aged barelywine, lol
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.
I know someone who did the custom brew thing. For their dog no less. Didn’t realize it was so expensive.

Ah cool. Good to know! I imagine they have different options if you contact them, but this is helpful. Didn't think of looking in their online shop for that lol.cboden wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 8:06 am$1,200 for 100 cans.El Pinguino wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 3:34 pm Has anyone used Red Tape to brew a custom beer?
