If you are fortunate like me and mostly work from home and live in the GTA, there is nothing more civilized than ordering from GLB and having their friendly driver show up the next day.

They even did a charity thing back around Thanksgiving where they would come out an pick up your donated empties. Unfortunately I was away at the time, but it's such a great idea, especially since their team in on the road anyway.

For those of you who don't get the CA newsletter, here's an interesting bit on how they named Ransack the Universe.

“Ransack the Universe IPA was born from a spontaneous moment of inspiration. On the way to a series launch party, which also marked the release of our first IPA, we found ourselves discussing potential names for the new beer. As we drove, we passed a vintage shop with a sign reading 'RANSACK THE UNIVERSE'. It immediately clicked — that was the name. Bold, adventurous, and a little out there, just like the beer we had in mind. We reached out to the owners of the shop, who were kind enough to grant us permission to use the name. The name 'Ransack the Universe' aligned perfectly with the beer's character. At the time, our Rhyme & Reason Extra Pale Ale was known for being hoppier than most IPAs on the Ontario market, so we wanted to give our IPA a name that matched its bold, adventurous spirit. Together, with Life in the Clouds, Ransack has become one of our flagship IPAs.

Ransack the Universe IPA is all about big flavours, big hops, and big adventures. It’s packed with hops from the Pacific Northwest and Galaxy hops from the Southern Hemisphere, so you get a taste of the world in every sip. Cheers to that!” - Matt Johnston, CEO & Co-Founder

It's on Bloor between Dufferin and Lansdowne. I've walked by many times and wondered if there was a connection. Thanks for sharing!
