BAOS "Get it in ya" Festival
BAOS "Get it in ya" Festival
The folks from BAOS are doing a festival at Blood Brothers on May 31st.
The poster is from a call for volunteers but the website doesn't seem to work yet so unclear what the ticket situation is.
Not many events like this anymore, probably a good thing to do it in a smallish space like Blood Brothers to keep the scale manageable.

Here's a link to ticket information:
https://checkout.admitone.com/FFE991?_g ... OS4wLjAuMA..
I emailed Blood Brothers this afternoon to see how big a pour was and how many tokens a pour costs.
I also read about the overcrowding and long lineups at Over The Tap earlier this year and asked if anything will be done to alleviate those issues at Get It In Ya.
I haven't received a response yet.

Yeah, kind of weird to sell a 20 pack of drink tickets for $60 and not say what the size is.StevesPaperTowelRack wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 7:46 pm I emailed Blood Brothers this afternoon to see how big a pour was and how many tokens a pour costs.

This is the message I got from Blood Brothers today in response to an email I sent last week. The blue type doesn't show up here but I've bolded the replies to my questions.
Hey Steve,
Thanks for reaching out. I've cut and pasted your message below with responses in blue.
I'm considering buying a ticket to the Get It In Ya Spectapular Beer Fest, but have a few questions first.
How big are the pours and how many tokens are being charged for each one?
Pours are 4 and 8 oz with a 10 oz glass. Drink tickets are $3. Most beers are $3 for 4oz and $6 for 8oz. Some pours will be $6 for 4 oz because of the cost of the product.
I read that the most recent Over The Tap event was over-crowded and it took too long to get beers. Is anything being done to try and alleviate these issues and is there a cap on the number of people who can attend?
No doubt Over the Tap was more crowded than what we expected. The tickets sold were based on events we have done in the past which were not beer festivals. After doing over the tap we realized there is quite a bottle neck between our two units which is why we have limited it to one side. Get it in Ya is located on our sound garage side. Tickets are limited to 120 guests per session. We are also considering opening up the garage door and having a small patio to get fresh air, this is still TBD. I will warn you in advance that most of the beers will be can pours so we can have more people serving and alleviate wait times.
I ordered several of the Over The Tap collaboration beers online and picked them up at the brewery on the Sunday after the festival. Will this be an option again?
I can only speak to Blood Brothers as this festival is being hosted by BAOS at Blood Brothers. We will have our collab cans available to purchase. I assume all of the Ontario Breweries will be selling out of their own bottle shops. US and Quebec breweries might be a bit harder to get your hands on products becuase they would need to be imported into Ontario and Tariffs paid.
I hope this answers all of your questions and feel free to ask anything else you would like to know. Hope to see you at the fest!

A bit of a back and forth over on Reddit about US collabs w/ BAOS.

I used to sell beer. Now I don't.
