Cask! Toronto Events - Still going in 2025

Post by Cass »

I'm not sure who is running things these days, but it's pleasantly surprising to see Cask Toronto still going.

I get their newsletters and they continue to have cask beer events at some of the usual suspects around town.

Good for them in keeping the fire burning when there really aren't many events around town anymore, save for happy hour specials. They keep their site & Facebook up to date, and have events this weekend, April & June.

1-75 Horner Ave, Etobicoke
4 casks will be pouring: 3 Pins with Nut Brown Ale, Black Lager and Motueka Pils, as well as a Firkin of the Pale Ale

And for next month:
The Granite Cask Marque & St. George's Day CASK! Toronto Event
Saturday, April 19th, The Granite
Celebrating the Cask Marque's appearance in our wonderful country, and a bit of blighty.

A little more time for things to warm up, then we'll have:
C'est What CASK! Toronto Event
Saturday, June 14th . . . on the patio
Including live revival jazz for the first couple of hours (the summer lineup of the Hot Five Jazzmakers).

The Granite Cask Marque & St. George's Day CASK! Toronto Social
Saturday, April 19th
1:00 PM - Back Patio

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a splendid opportunity to enjoy a selection of the Granite's classic cask ales, along with a special brew crafted exclusively for this event.

It's a double pronged gathering that will no doubt merge into one happy bundle of joy . . . near enough to Saint George's Day (the wearing of Red Roses, Three Lions etc. is welcomed . . . ), and proudly acclaiming the Granite as the first brewery in Canada to receive the prestigious Cask Marque accreditation.

The exciting cask line-up:
Best Bitter Special
Hopping Mad
Summer Ale
Galactic Blades
50 Heartbeats - West Coast ipa
And a new beer: Take Me Back - English ipa 5.9%

Reporting back.

This was a delightful well attended event with good camaraderie and great beer had by all.

The Take Me Back was spot on. I hope they put this in regular rotation. It's the perfect answer to the discussion elsewhere here about English IPAs.

And congratulations to the Keefe family and supporting clan!
