Having read this was brewed from Ontario malt made in a small-scale fashion and some Ontario-grown hops (the rest English) I checked this out tonight at the Bow and Arrow. It was excellent. Rather different from prior versions of Harvest Ale. The malt notes were sweet and soft yet not too pronounced, and there was an intriguing spicy/resinous taste from the hop blend. A very pure and digestible beer and a fine example of a crafted local product. Great work Charles MacLean and all the team at F & M in Guelph.
