I see in a post to Brookston Beer Bulletin that today is Stephen Beaumont's birthday.

So, happy birthday to him!

It's all down hill from here, you know, the start iof 'strange'.

Can't seem to stay awake...

Wishing for your bed halfway through the evening....

Grey hairs where you've never seen them before....

The dog/cat is costing you thousands...

The wife thinks you should have your eyebrows trimmed...

You can't believe how fortunate you are to have lived so long....

All the best Stephen..

May you live forever,

Pax.

Regnet amor,

Liam

Didn't see this yesterday, but thanks very much one and all. No beer highlights to report, alas, but I did find time to partake of some Veuve Clicquot, Chianti Classico and a damn fine Negroni.

(Okay, there was one beer highlight, but it was on my birthday eve rather than my birthday proper: A 20 year old bottle of Wets Kriek fermented with twice the usual amount of cherries. Yes, it was spectacular. Details in the Taste of the Month in May's edition of World of Beer.)

And Mr. McKenna, I'll have you know that I trim my own eyebrows, sir!

Cheers,

S.
