Weihenstephaner is in stock at a few stores around Toronto. I guess that means it should be widely available later this week.

It is indeed. Just picked up 6 at the Hanna St store. Looking forward to trying a few tonight.

Weihenstephaner, Grolsch, both Chapeaus, Christoffel, Orange Peel, maybe one other I can't remember at Summerhill last night.

I know where I'm stopping off on the way home! Thanks for the heads up.

Oh sure, they weren't at Summerhill on Wednesday night when I was there! (other than the Chapeau Lemon and Orange Peel)

I'm supposed to lay off all beer and wine for six weeks, possible yeast allergies.

Great timing on the Weihenstephaner, LOL!

That's ironic in the worst of ways; my naturopath frowns on the consumption of maltose but I told her I'd slow down a bit. Yours' is a different horse to ride.

No stock in the LCBO online inventory yet, but there were (at least) 24 bottles of the Bombardier Burning Gold at the Brock St. location this morning. In clear bottles, nonetheless. It doesn't get the best reviews on RB, but I tend to like bitters, and am a bit more charitable towards them. In any case, what with the clear bottle and the open case, this is probably one you want to pick up ASAP (if you are going to at all) and get it into the fridge.

The St. Peter's Golden Ale is in a few stores now, it seems. I picked up a couple bottles today at Brock St.

Also, slightly odd, but I noticed a case of....wait for it....Bass Pale Ale....in CANS!!! It's back, for better or worse - those lamenting its delisting a couple months ago (there weren't many of you) will be assuaged by its return, and I'm assuming it's relatively fresh right now.

And yes, I picked up a can.

I've been missing it for nostalgia's sake. Glad it's back.

I picked up an Éphémère from Summerhill last night. This is the first time I've tried this beer and I enjoyed it quite a lot. The Quebecois seem to be very handy with apples. On a related note, ice cider lovers will also be glad to know that a new shipment of La Face Cachée is in at some stores.

Never had that ice cider, I should really try to find some. Unfortunately, I don't see any Éphémère in Toronto. Haven't seen any ST or Dead Guy anywhere downtown either, but yeah.

They have Ephemere on tap at Betty's on King Street East if you can't find it in any stores. Really great stuff.
