Edelweiss Snowfresh

Post by Belgian »

Recommend grabbing a few. Interesting non-traditional Krystal Weizen with alpine herbs added. Along with the Schoffenhofer Grapefruit, here is another perfectly fine summer refresher that is not full of sugar like many sodas, alocopops & light lambics. Very cool.

i enjoyed it, it is definitely a summer refresher, but i found it had a HUGE lemon flavour, it was like lemon lifesavers almost. But like i said,it was enjoyable, just a bit odd.

It was definitely an interesting beer. I was expecting some sort of Dentyne type mint flavour but was surprised by how humble the minty aspect was. It was nice and refreshing, but wheat beers and I have a complicated relationship :-? .

I really don't get much in the way of spices out of this one. It pretty much tastes like a watery wheat beer. I'm going to have to pick up another bottle, I'm thinking that all the hops I've had today have done in my palate.

Not bad, but I got some oxidation it the two I had today, I think.

MAN this is a refreshing beer. It was extra chilled, but the flavours still held their own. Very clean taste, but with a good body. I'll certainly pick up some more.

I would say it tasted a lot like drinking a liquefied car air freshener. I did not enjoy it.

I did not enjoy it as much the second time either. Seemed artificial. But super cold it's refreshing as anything, yeah. Schoffenhofer is better IMO.

Drank it at room temperature...not pleasant, but I could see it being refreshing if superchilled.
