Has anybody picked up any of this beer yet? I've bought three bottles, and I'm three for three in terms of spoiled beer. One bottle was chipped (don't think I did it but didn't notice it at the store), the second was dead flat, the third skunked. Wondering if I just had some extremely bad luck or has anybody else had some quality issues with this shipment?

Just drinking one with lunch right now...drinking quite nicely on a summery afternoon.

I've had one that was a little skunky and one that was good.

The 'Big Dutch' 1.5L jugs from a few months ago were very well kept in comparison.

I had a bad one as well....make sure you take them back to a store...if you have the receipt they'll give you a refund, if not, they'll give you credit against a purchase. You can take them back even if the bottle is empty.

This trend spells bad news for any future Christoffel release. They're probably losing enough money bringing these in already, without having to replace all the skunked ones.

That may not be Christoffel's fault, but they're going to pay for it.

I am ashamed to - but boldly - say this is news to me.

I will look into this and try to get an answer.

As you know, we are the agent for Christoffel.

Cheers, Paul

I've purchased some more of the the Christoffel blond and the one's I had so far have been good. At rest assured that I understand it is not Christoffel or the agent to blame if I am getting beer that has been improperly cared for. The Christoffel at the store I go to is in a display at the front of the store near a window. Not only does it get the store lights but I'm sure some sunlight hits it as well.
