I really want to try this.
I just received two beautiful bottles of this today. This and some Growlers of Mill Street's Tripel = good weekend and good night.

Need to be home tonight for family reasons so taking the chance to revisit Durham Signature. Have a reasonably fresh sixer (packaged 12-28-2008) and it is really good! Definitely one of our better bottled micros that is reasonably widely available, at least in the GTA.

Creemore Urbock.

It seems to be a little more flavourful than the last couple of years, particularly the hopping.

If it's delivered fresh weekly, why was mine bottled Jan 7th?

Agreed. If you can get a fresh 6, it's a gem.

Had a pint of Tankhouse and one of Cameron's Lager while out earlier. Stopped in at my brother's for a bottle of Dieu du Ciel Derniere Volonte, then home to finish off the night with an '06 Westmalle Dubbel (now) and an '07 John By (next). The 3 year old dubbel is superb.

For me it was a Koningshoeven Quad, an Aventinus, and some Creemore (half the can went into some baked beans). I think I'm done after that. Probably, but not for sure. I have to decide whether to stay up another 3 hours until the beans are done or whether I'll finish cooking them tomorrow.

A Koningshoeven Quad shared with some friends then a Fullers 1845 and a Hair of the Dog Adam. Good night!
I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Wasn't feeling great so I just left this in the fridge a few days.

I needed a sip before bed and... wow the oxygen does it some good!

The Wild Rose IIPA is a little different than a lot of other IIPA's....super, super malty, but balanced with the necessary huge hope bite. Very nice.

Last night it was multiple pints of Welly's Imperial Russian Stout....maybe one too many, but a marvelous beer.

Sleeman IPA half-chilled, certainly the best bottling yet. It has a clean well-malted taste with the Goldings well-interleaved and lending a faint resinous aftertaste, i.e., most of said hop is working as aroma in this beer. It meets the 1820's Brittanica definition of ale as pale, brisk, sweetish and "free from bitter" (by which they meant excessive bitterness). True, a "true" IPA would probably have tasted more bitter, but this ale is just fine as it is, a pale ale of excellent quality. Later, I blended some 50/50 with Mill Street barley wine (2008) to make an "old and bitter". A fine blending indeed and the old pub-goers knew a thing or two about mixing. The blending could give Fuller 1845 a run for its money.

Hopsinjoor.

Nobel hops (Golding, Spalt, Hallertau & Saaz); nice tropical fruity esters from the Belgian yeast... incredible.
