Unibroue agent?

Post by Gedge »

Is there a local agent for Unibroue? I got to thinking whilst staring at the bombers of Don de Dieu, Chambly Noire and Trois Pistoles at The Only last night. Would love to be able to get a case of some of these.

Unibroue is owned and repped by Sleeman. Not sure if they do any sort of direct sales to individuals for those beers.

Yeah, that's the the thing. I wouldn't think of Sleeman having a rep who does private sales, but then I see the bombers in the beer bars and I'm wondering where they buy from.

I know a Unibroue rep who actually represents a lot of those restaurants/bars. He's told me those Unibroue beers are sold (and imported) only for the licensees. :(

The Trois Pistoles, however, you can still find at the odd Beer Store. The one near me at Whites Road and Highway 2 still stocks it.

I put in an e-mail to Sleeman, but I guess it's moot now.

I might be in Montreal soon, so I'll have to stock up on Unibroue and DDC beers.

I ordered cases of Terrible and Quelque Chose directly through the LCBO. They had both been carried by the LCBO in the previous year, so there were no testing fees or anything.

If they've got a SKU for that bottle size & it's already sold here, I think it should be relatively easy (the LCBO will contact the supplier for pricing etc).

Try:

Specialty Services Private Ordering
33 Freeland Street
Toronto, Ontario
M5E 1L7

General Inquires: (416) 864-6739
