Homebrewers need empties. I pretty much depleted my stock of 500ml bottles giving away homebrews for the holidays.

On the SOB Forums page I see bbqbrewer is looking for 341ml bottles. As he puts it, "I know the obvious route is to buy full bottles, drink, wash and use, but would be interested if there is a source for larger quantities of new bottles."

Do you bartowelers have any suggestions?

I used to go to the beer store and get a case of the old quart bottles from Molson, and they'd give them to me for the deposit. I don't know if they still do that. Alternately talk to your local good beer bar and see if they will give you some empties.

Hmm.... that's a good idea. Feathers is right on the corner from where I live... I suppose they must pour the odd bottle of beer!
