This is a very decent imperial stout. The 9.1% alcohol content is well integrated and it really goes down smoothly. Roasty/chocolately malt body and great hoppy aftertaste. I personally recommend it to anyone who likes stout. And 2.40/bottle... not bad. I guess this is one instance when you can tell the CDN dollar is higher these days.

Its a pretty good imperial stout. Its actually the highest rated imperial stout on Ratebeer. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the huge hops in this style of beer, but otherwise its still quite nice.

Actually, Victory Storm King is tied for the eighth highest Imperial Stout on Ratebeer.

Of the thousands of beers rated on ratebeer.com, Storm King is the #2 beer of any style overall, placing just behind Westvleteren 12 and just ahead of Stone Imperial Stout...I think we can all agree it's a very highly rated beer...and deservedly so!

I've had two Storm Kings so far, quickly followed by two naps.

You must be looking at an older list, Peter, as Storm King currently sits at #12 on RateBeer.

(See http://ratebeer.com/Ratings/Ratings-Top50.asp for the latest stats.)

That still ain't too shabby, though.

Purchased a six pack of Storm on friday. I was the lucky individual who opened up the case sitting near an end aisle display for Mill Street Coffee Porter. Great beer had it in Buffalo two years ago! I only wish this was a permanent list at the LCBO.

Yes, the tankhouse ale is available also, but only from about 5 of their shops.
