While I don't know the details of their business plan, I think you've probably got it backwards.
By launching the organic, they've been able to generate volume & revenue that now allows them to brew the better beer without going out of business
Perhaps if some of the other brewers took on well marketed, profitable 'piss lager' then they'd be able to make money AND brew good beer too (a seemingly near-impossible feat in Ontario....)
