Plan It For The Granite - Thu Apr 22

Post by GregClow »

On Thursday, April 22nd at 7pm, the Southern Ontario Brewers (SOBs) will meet with renowned brewer Ron Keefe, who will present a tasting of his specialty craft brews at the Granite Brewery (245 Eglinton Avenue East).

This unique event will also be the chance to get all the details on the SOBs homebrewing contest, where someone will win the chance to have their brew served at the Granite!

George Leet and Roger Beal of the SOBs are still working out the contest details with Ron, but wanted to get the invite out in advance to ensure a good crowd. All homebrewers are welcome to join them on April 22nd when details on the contest will be announced.

There was a good crowd for this last night. A fun event in all - Ron was a great host and generously lead everybody through the creation of all his beers with much sampling.

I had forgotten how good the Keefe's stout is.
