kegging options

Post by jaymack »

So I'm getting a decent tax return and really want to start looking at kegging the homebrew.

What's the minimum I need to get rolling, starting wtih a single keg?

Minimum:

5 lb CO2 tank
regulator
gas line
keg 'in' connector
5 gal. corny keg
keg 'out' connector
beer line
picnic tap
all clamps
fridge
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Keep an eye on kijiji as well. I picked up five cornies, a 20lb tank and various odds and ends for $120. Last week there was a similar deal, six cornies, two tanks, regulators and so on for around $300.

A lot of people pick up their stuff at Simgo. I find them very helpful.

Cheers
