I somehow weaseled my way in on it and there's an article with some photos up on my blog (link in sig).
It looks like it's going to be a great experiment.

Can't believe I'm gonna miss all the fun
This will almost certainly make a few local brewers nervous, especially knowing what Biergotter can do and the possible 'consultants' to be used!

you won't see a quad at volo, not unless we can talk the government into removing that silly 6.5% ABV cap on brewpubs...shintriad wrote:I think I mentioned here that I counted a flat, stale, overly alcoholic pint of Biergotter's interpretation of Westy 12 as the best beer I've ever tasted. To this day, that still stands.
Man. This can only be good!
today was fun, and we're all already talking about what will come next.

yup, if you are licensed as a "brewpub" you are capped at 6.5%. anyone brewing something above that has to be licensed as a brewery (which is a little more involved and more expensive).kwjd wrote:Is this actually a law or is this a joke? I don't know what to believe with Ontario alcohol regulations.
