Thanks Doc, that looks complicated! I think I'll just transfer litre by litre.

My question with doing a full-boil would be the cooling of the wort. I don't have any sort of formal wort chiller yet, and would be doing an ice bath. Is it possible to cool a full-boil quickly enough?

Also, what is the best way to monitor the temp. of the wort while cooling, without exposing it to the air too much?
