I had a Welly Dark (County Ale) last night at Opera Bob's. Still held it's own but I sure wish I could find it on cask somewhere, as that's where it really shines.
In Guelph, the County is always available as a real ale at the Wooly. And you're right - its much better that way.

Had this the other night with Cratez. Thanks Mike!

Reminded me of a dunkel and was lager like, with roasty malts and some chocolate notes. A pretty good effort actually.

Fine, but not good? Is that like saying bad, but not enjoyable?

Geez, something has to be really horrible to make you actually want to drink guinness.
