Scotty - Hopefully you didn't keep the Dec 30th casks on for 3 weeks...ScottyJ77 wrote:Friday January 21st
Three new kegs received and waiting to be tappped
I would suggest either posting every time a cask is emptied/tapped or only posting for special casks (e.g. the Night Marzen you mentioned before but never told us when it was tapped). Infrequent posts only reinforce the impression that the Loon keeps casks on for much longer than they should.
I had another batch of kegs between my last posts but did not have my laptop (it fried) to easily post and by the time I remembered when I was near another computer I was already ordering the new ones, also I was out of casks as well for probably 6 total days for the 3 weeks since my last post and I carried very minimal amounts over the holidays and into the start of the new year.hops are your friend wrote:Scotty - Hopefully you didn't keep the Dec 30th casks on for 3 weeks...ScottyJ77 wrote:Friday January 21st

Good news is that the response from this post and the newly found enthusiasm by us for the casks is making us move 3 pins within a week and it seems to be growing. I do have a day or two were I may be out of stock but I see that as a good problem, it means we are going through it.
ps.
In the beginning stages of organizing a cask beer festival, date is undetermined as of yet and we are currently gaging te interest.
If you do decide to host such an event, give us a hint of your dates + media info and we'll post it on Bières et Plaisirs.com.

A cask festival would be really cool. And as far as the regular casks go, any luck getting anything other than Heritage/SI and Beau's products?ScottyJ77 wrote:I had another batch of kegs between my last posts but did not have my laptop (it fried) to easily post and by the time I remembered when I was near another computer I was already ordering the new ones, also I was out of casks as well for probably 6 total days for the 3 weeks since my last post and I carried very minimal amounts over the holidays and into the start of the new year.hops are your friend wrote:Scotty - Hopefully you didn't keep the Dec 30th casks on for 3 weeks...ScottyJ77 wrote:Friday January 21st

Hey guys....great job on supporting the cask movement in ontario. We were just in Michigan at the Craft Brewer's Conference where we attended a seminar on casks. we learned a lot ourselves. It is a pretty sizable movement in the US!
Let me know if you are interested in a Flying Monkeys cask. Next time we are going to Ottawa (every six weeks) we'll set you up! even though it sounds like Beaus's and Scotch Irish are taking care of you, we would be happy to support the cause.
Peace,
Peter

Sounds cool....I'd like to do a custom cask for you and have a couple ideas. Do you prefer aggressive hopping or malt forward? Do you have any other preferences? I can call you when it works for you and we can discuss it!ScottyJ77 wrote:I'll take one!!peterchiodo wrote:Hey guys....great job on supporting the cask movement in ontario.
