Saw this on Dogfish's Facebook page:

Thanks for your understanding

Dogfish will not return to Canada or UK for 2011, and is even pulling distribution from a number of states (Tennessee, Indiana, Wisconsin and Rhode Island)

I'm still not convinced that we can rule out the possibility that the LCBO is behind ALL of this.

WOW, you wanna take the tin foil hat off matey...........this is happening right across Canada and further afield. Unless of course, the LCBO have minions in all Provinces and some US States too? And DFH are 'lying' too.

"Thanks for understanding and we are hopeful for your ongoing support."

Which would be difficult to give, since we can't purchase their products where we live anymore...

I strongly dislike DFH anyways so I'm not terribly upset. More room on the shelves for Trafalgar's latest atrocities!

I'd rather they held onto their tenuous control of quality, and focused on just making the best possible beers they can brew. Which will never be the Chichory Stout, of course.

Sam Caglione you are doing the right thing. I've enjoyed some of your beers, but there's a lot of good brewers out there. Even some of ours!

I'd love to get my hands on just one pack of DFH 90 min instead of going to pay $10 a bottle at Beerbistro for the priviledge. If anyone manages to pick this up on their travels and is willing to part with some, please let me know as I'd glady compensate you for a few bottles as long as it's less than what the Beerbistro charges.

I'm much more disappointed that Zappos is pulling out of Canada rather than Dogfish Head.
