I found this very interesting ....
I am doing some research on beer bars in San Diego for a trip I am taking at the end of the month. There is a beer bar in downtown San Diego called Downtown Johnny Browns and they have TAPS IPA from Niagara Falls, ON on tap. How the heck did that happen? The best beer city in the US has a local IPA on tap? Wow!

I`ll bet it`s this, probably some database mixup or grabbing bad info from the internet.TheSevenDuffs wrote:I found this very interesting ....

EDIT - Although the Taps in Brea looks like its a brewpub only place so maybe it really is from Niagara Falls. You have to go there and investigate!

Your trip may be too early, or you may have to go back again, I just saw this in Ale Street News. Pretty cool and ambitious.

Stone, Coney Island, Rogue and more brew news...
STONE ROCKS SD WITH EXPANSION NEWS
Anyone who follows Stone Brewing Co. CEO Greg Koch’s Twitter feed or Facebook page is no stranger to his unique brand of promotion for Stone. While it’s only fitting for the brewery that brought the world Arrogant Bastard Ale to come across as a bit over-the-top, in Stone’s case it’s not merely hyperbole, as they made clear with yesterday’s big announcements. And while these announcements were mostly local in scope, they will be welcome developments for anyone who’s contemplated a beer-centric visit to San Diego.
Starting with Stone’s present brewing facility in Escondido, there are four exciting new projects. One is the doubling of production, with a new 55,000 sq. ft. production facility being built; two is another facility being built across the street specifically for production of sour beers, along with storage for long-term barrel aging; three is the leasing of a nearby 18-acre organic farm, to provide fresh produce for their restaurant and forthcoming catering business; and four is the construction of a 50-room hotel, which should make North County beer tourism a lot more enjoyable.
Even better for beer tourism, and locals, is another Stone project: a second Stone Bistro located at Liberty Station, right near the airport. The facility will feature a 19,000 sq. ft. landscaped garden, a 10-bbl. pilot brewing system for unique and experimental beers, bocce ball courts, and seating for more than 400 guests, along with private rooms for parties. Growler fills will also be offered here, which will be welcome news to all the Stone fans who currently face a 60 mile round-trip drive when they run out of beer.
Lastly, a long-planned tasting room and Stone company store, offering growler fills, bottles, and merchandise, is finally going to open in South Park, along San Diego’s famous 30th St. corridor. This project had been in limbo for some time, due to residents protesting the originally planned small brewing operation. With the pilot system going in at the new bistro location instead, Stone was able to pursue a different license for the South Park storefront, which means it should be opening this summer.
