A 2007 botttle of Oud Bruin-based "Liefmans Kriek", which the brewer has since renamed Cuvée Brut. First time I tried this cherry-infused Sour Flemish Ale and it's more than I was expecting, wow! I'm glad I laid this bottle down for years. to tame the reported sweetness. Arr it be loverley.

A nice cold Smashbomb to beat this heat. Was pleasantly surprised to see this on the shelf at my LCBO in Belleville. Went in for Mad Tom and came out with a 12 of this and a 12 of Mad Tom. Its going to be a good day.

A colder than usual can of Crazy Canuck. I don't know why everyone is complaining, I am loving this heat. It's not nearly as humid as I expected it to be.

Me too. The complaining may have something to do with everyone being pussies. Gimme a big ole blanket of warm air, I can always catch up sleep next week.

Soon to hit the Beaches Street Fest and maybe cram into Castros for a pint if the usual Castrolites are not jamming the place by 7:30. I'd just as soon pack some cans of Kellerbier and wander the musical wonders, ahh if only the liquor laws here were not so effete.

Lindeman's Cuvee Rene. Even at this young stage, the complexity is apparent. This rivals any of the "complex" hoppy beers I have had of late. THIS is beer!

Hopyard Pale Ale shore is purty in dis heat wave.

I saw Zane from Caplansky's at Beach Jazz Streetfest. In the big truck, hocking maple & beef-bacon donuts on the fressers. The big ole bugger.

My first bottle of Smashbomb. Still loving it. A little more bitter on tap.

Duggan's Sorachi Lager, which is awesome if you love mediocrity and artificial popcorn butter.

Smashbomb (Thanks Terry)

Crazy Canuck

And a can of Cameron's Lager I picked up while returning bottles to the BS. Just for the lolz I guess.

Off to Ottawa tomorrow for some Quebecois beer adventures.
