Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

The Regal is a spacious bar/restaurant with a combination of wood paneling, concrete walls (or so it appeared to me) and comfy red velvet seating. The crowd seemed mostly U of T, students and profs too. I liked it.

I just googled it, OK I know where you mean (Bloor Annex near St George Stn.)
VERY scathing reviews of the food and the obnoxious owner. (But then again...red velvet seating.) I might just go there for a 50 and piss off the owner in some way. Who's comin'?

Happy International Stout Day - Started with the Kalamazoo, and am on the Tempest right now, might go for the St. Ambroise to cap the night
I didn't realize that yesterday was stout day, but coincidentally I had a Guinness at a lunch with clients yesterday. It was the best choice on Milestone's taplist.
Thanks for the heads up on the stonehammer stout Cale, I think I know where I'm stopping after work today!

Be wary of the Highballer at the Judge though - the keg is sour.
Bushwakker Pumpkin Spiced Ale - easily the best pumpkin beer I have ever had. Absolutely nailed the spices, base beer was a perfect match. Can't say I have been crazy about previous year's batches, but this was outstanding.
