Well, my experience at Regal (full name, Regal Beagle) was just fine. Beer was excellent, good burger, and no complaints with the service. They had Tankhouse and Organic Lager and one other craft beer, enough to whet my interest.
Sometimes I like to visit pubs that aren't resolutely beer focused. Another I enjoy occasionally is Paully's, on Yonge, for its Wednesday quiz night.

Definitely agree. I quite like their Black IPA and Rise Up Red.markaberrant wrote:Hopworks (HUB) Organic IPA - pretty solid west coast IPA, has held up reasonably well, these guys are one of my favourite new-to-me breweries, everything I have tried from them has been very good.
I don't know about Sask, but Alberta started getting Fish Brewing Reel Ales series beers about the same time as the HUB stuff and all are equally as pleasant. Nice to be getting some nice US brews up in Western Canada as of late.

Yeah, we have the Fish beers here now. We also had them 3-4 years ago when they first came to Alberta. Other than a few of there basic organic ales, they had been mostly absent from the CAN market the last few years. Good to see them back, though I do miss the Poseidon Imperial Stout and Old Woody strong ale.boney wrote: Definitely agree. I quite like their Black IPA and Rise Up Red.

The HUB coffee stout and DIPA (Ace of Spades) are also top notch. Pretty good price point on the HUB beers too, especially considering their quality.
