So a new 24% limited release from Sam Adams. Cost seems to be $100US.

Lyle, will Premier be bring any in? I noticed Buffalo wasn't on the list of the places where you can buy the beer. If so, are there seven or eight of you out there willing to form a consortium to buy a bottle?

At $100US, what's that, $750,000 Canadian + duty. Oh well, another beer I probably won't try, even if I do buy it.

I believe the bottles are 750 ml, too. So I would go in on that. $160 by eight so $20 a pop. That ain't cheap. But, those who've had the Millenium say that it was wonderful, and infinitely better than the "love-it-or-hate-it" Triple Bock.

But yeah, I'll put in my $20. I'm headed stateside in three weeks and should be able to find it, if it's not going to Buffalo and we can gather the coinage by that point.

I talked to my brother and two of his friends. So, I 95% sure I can now speak for 4 shares. That's seven down, one to go. We need to start working out the details. I'll be heading to Cleveland and Rochester sometime before the end of April, if anyone knows where it might be available. As for the bottle, I personally don't necessarily want it, though I can't speak for the other investors. Maybe we can auction it off.

I didn't see it at State Line Liquors last weekend (one of the better stores in the mid-Atlantic - you should see my haul). But I did have the Raison d'Extra, at 20.5%. Had the 60 Minute IPA as well, which was much better than the 90 Minute, but only sold on tap.

As for the bottle, I don't need it. I might take a picture of it, but I don't need to keep it.

I have relatives in Rochester, NY. If we have to order the beer, we could have it shipped to them and not risk losing it to a thirsty custom's agent.

Otherwise it seems to mean a road trip to Albany or Detroit.
