DFH decided to distribute less widely, and Ontario is outside that area. That one isn't really the LCBO's fault.Brewbert wrote:Gods I miss dogfish head 60 minute... Got a 6 pack every friday at the mavis lcbo on my way home from UofT.
Went down to buffalo got some of the 120 minute, -dies-
Need more dogfish at the lcbo!

Rogue Yellow Snow IPA. The beast that changed me forever.
2-3 years back? A few of these bombers were collecting dust for months at my local. I don't know what led me to grab one that day instead of mindlessly walking out with Creemore or Steamwhistle.
The shockingly forceful taste of this liquid emitting eerie yellowish glow totally destroyed me that day. Needless to say my taste buds were reborn and things would never be the same again.

Samuel Smith RIS from the winter release. Nothing like shoveling the driveway at 8 PM onlly to have 1 or 2 of these waiting for you when you were done.
DFH 60 - If I got shut out on the seasonal realeases I could at least grab a 6 of this as a consolation prize
Anchor Liberty - I always had at least 4 of these in the fridge/cellar for when friends came over. One of the best beers to convert friends. Prefered it to DFH 60
St. Peter's Cream Stout - A less heralded winter LCBO release compared to the Samuel Smith, but this cream stout was awesome. Loved opening one of these after coming home from an evening of holiday shopping.

Nice to hear many others echo my sentiments for the Anchor Liberty Ale.
I didn't buy it a lot, but once a month or so I grabbed a couple of bottles. I really enjoyed the larger, but not too large, bottle size. Perhaps a 6-pack will encourage me to buy more overall when it returns.
Saison Dupont....forgot that one! Happy news about Westmalle Tripel too! I did a LCBO search last week and it didn't show up at all, so if it is listed now....hooray, I won't feel guilty for drinking my last one

I forgot about that (I think I actually hastily assembled that in photoshop and put it on my flickr account). He actually has a book out now and that tv show is still on the air. He was on the Howard Stern show a few weeks back as a sponsor... gone and forgotten perhaps, but remnants of his presence still permeate the air.sprague11 wrote:

Mind=blown.
I have a disturbing pile of Celebrator plastic ram thingies in my room too. This is not a good sign.
