I like it after one or two years to round off the woody edge, but it's a good one!
The Nøgne Ø is fantastic, full of flavors and well rounded. I'm very glad to see this brand here instead of buying it at Premier Gourmet + paying border duty etc.

I agree. Nogne is wonderful. Its not as big on the espresso or chocolate as the RIS and no smoke to speak of, but it has a great hop bite to it for a stout and its exquisitely balanced. I`m also getting a nice soy flavour, which I always enjoy. Another beer well worth its prohibitive price.

My one problem with the RIS is that it's so good, it's ruined other impys I had a Nogne AFTER the RIS so it just seemed ok - I really need to drink it with a fresh pallet. Or should I say..."a wide pallet of flavours..."

Norrebro beers still seem to pop up from time to time, especially in Mississauga - Not long ago, I saw a few Bombay PAs and the La Granga. Pass - I'll spend my 8.00 on something else thanks.
I actually did really like Little Korkny, and actually still have one, but $20 was an crazy price - I think I bought those on a three paycheque month.

At King/Spadina today - saw shelf tags for DDC Solstice d'hiver, Brooklyn Monster, Charlevoix Double - no product yet though I see a couple T.O. stores showing stock on the Charlevoix.
