Rusty Bottle Caps

I am preparing to bottle on Monday. I was just getting my stuff together and realized my bag of bottle caps has a bunch of (semi) rusted caps. Any ideas on how to removed the rust? Will a oxiclean bath do the trick?

I guess I didnt dry the sanitizer off them well enough last time.

Toss 'em. It's not worth risking oxidation/infection down the road due to a poor seal.

I was thinking the same thing. The only problem is finding a store that sells them nearby.

Anyone know of a store near Guelph or Fergus that sells caps?

i have about 9500 in my basement if you need some, im in cambridge though

eh not much help but there is a store in st kitts you can get them from in a pinch. try any local ubrew places they should help you out.

Thanks Matt, but just moved away from St Kitts a few weeks ago. I'll try the local BOP stores.
