This is like the Seniors Moment thread!

I still have a few S&S Eisbock and it is scary strong stuff, possible responsible for some hangovers. The Aventinus is a winner. But why not Eisbock your own version and freeze a container filled with the Weizenbock? Legend has it that was the original, unintended original version.

I've had similar. Like when beer cans are left in the ice cooler too long, they can get slushy! Now... pour the liquid off the slush, voila - perfectly-made semi-ice beer.

It's like home distillation without the methanol blindness.

LCBO 264358 Dominus Vobiscum Double - 500 ml - Quebec

Did this have a limited distribution?

There seems to be far fewer store that got this, as compared to the Blanche and Triple.

This seems to be with the few that were released right before the holidays...

S d' H seems to be exclusively at summerhill right now...hopefully now these will start spreading out...

For me the Solstice is the big hit of this release. I've tried it several times before but this year's version seems much hoppier than previous years and I just can't get enough of it. Not to mention 4 barleywines for $13 is decent value. I plan to snag the last couple packs from my local 'BO and put a few bottles away for next year. It's a great brew.

I see the Affligem tripel is now hitting shelves...I've always enjoyed that brew.
