Stopped into my local store to get some rum for my world famous barbecued turkey and saw the clerk stocking the shelves. Asked her just for a laugh if she had any of the 12 in stock and she said , surprisingly yes we have 12 but, it doesn't scan up so we can't sell it. I said I can tell you the price and control # but she said they had to wait for a reply for an earlier email about what to do. The store was even listed as having had any on the LCBO site.

I was going to argue the point but already felt foolish after a little girl pointed to me and said, "Mommy why is that man crying?".

Sigh!!! So close and yet so far!

Just came from Dundurn, call ahead unless you have some already held for you, I grabbed the last one off the shelf (sorry :cry: ). They may have more in the back.

... and it's only <> $130 for two twelves. The cheapest thing, really (compared to the 40.)

Got a couple bottles of Ola Dubh 12, surprised as hell to find them at my crappy little LCBO. Looking forward to trying them.
