Oh, no Double Dead Guy at King & Spadina. I just want one bottle...

Really? There was 26 there yesterday. I'd happily trade you one of mine for something interesting. I have 3.

Of course I wirr.

I wirr be preased to do so.

I do not take arr the stock, just enough to furrfirr by fantasies, and perhaps meet the needs of a few rocar beer geeks too. Though rast time I did that, my hard work went unappreciated, so I may not make as much of an effort.
The masonville lcbo had all but the soba and double dead guy today. Was going to take all the brutal so I could be THAT guy but left lots for others. Hope I'm not on the lack of appreciation list as I appreciated the fact you got the Beaver for me (ha ha) and said so. Anyway keep up the good work.
How many were left after u grabbed your bottles? I went today and the Brutal was completely gone. Disappointing. :-?

I didn't see any last night sometime between 5:30-6:00pm. I hemmed and hawed on going during the day but ultimately didn't. The Wells Banana Bread was nearly gone (I know most of you would be crushed. :P )

The only interesting stuff I have are:

Southern Tier Iniquity Black Ale (previous Buffalo & Rochester run)
Les Trois Mousquetaires Porter Baltique Grande Cuvee (from recent private order splitsies with kona)
Hair of the Dog Fred (from last Bartowel group private order, a while ago)
Fullers Vintage Ale dating back to 2005

Lister not to derail a trade but if more convenient you could also probably find it at Spadina and Dundas in these next few days. This is one of the stores slated for delivery.

There was loads at the first place I looked today, Bloor Yonge Manulife. I had planned Eglinton Yonge as a backuo.

Good luck to anyone & be quick about it is all I would suggest.

Indeed.

Though the Double Dead Guy will be in very small supply. Like a few bottles.

As I've said already, I'm not too keen on hunting around. I did that for another hobby and I'm sick of it. Waste of time and energy. If the LCBO is bringing in a limited supply of something I'd rather they do what they did for Sam Adams Utopia, a lottery. I can live with losing out like that rather than possibly a small group of people hoarding.

I wasn't too keen on drinking the Iniquity anyways.

Just so nobody freaks out all the Yonge and Eg stock of Double Dead Guy is already on hold for various BT and BA members, there may be a bottle or two up for grabs still. I will post if there are when I get to work later.

'Hunting'? Iit's a short walk up from King &likely to be there any time. Just thought I'd mention it for your benefit or anyone actually wanting the DDG.

As for the reserved stock at Eglinton, the LCBO memo the fellow at Queen's Quay showed me indicated 'no holds' for the DDG. Just 20 cases in all. I guess some holds are more equal than others?

Thanks, Jonas. I actually did not know that there were to be no holds with DDG.
The few bottles that end up in London will not be held then. I Will either purchase and redistribute or put em on the shelf, as to not contribute to the hoarding.

Thanks Ren.

I appreciate you guys might occasionally hold back a little stock for a definite buyer, but for such a rare item nobody is special & everyone should get a chance right?

How is purchasing and redistributing not the same as holding and hoarding?
