Just wanted to post a couple of clarifying things.

Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Solstice Stout - We have approxiamtely 2500 bottles left...

THRUST! an IPA (vermont yeast): Only available in growlers and on tap. The two different characters on the cans are just for fun.

THRUST! an IPA: About 700 units left but more coming late this week.
is thrust coming to the lcbo in cans?
No, retail store only according to numerous things they wrote on their social media in the last few days.

Sorry to hear that you were told incorrect information... We were one of the only breweries to actually have staff at Winter Brewfest, so not sure how/why you were told this. THRUST! an IPA is not headed to LCBO.

But, stay tuned to our social feeds and website as we'll be releasing information about two new LCBO releases in the next month.

Robohop Info:

tl;dr... 4500 cans at retail ($5), 10,000 bombers shipped to LCBO ($8.95). Coming very soon, maybe this week.

4 bucks for an extra 175ml, that's pretty expensive glass :o
... but cheaper than driving to Etobicokee, so I'll get them from the control board :D

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's the same format as they had in the LCBO before. As far as I can recall, that means it doesn't have to go through lab testing again (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

I might get one just to see how the hop profile has changed (was never a big fan of Amarillo) but I really dislike the huge bombers.

too bad about the bombers for the lcbo, that just means I'll buy zero of these instead of 10-12. at least immodest and malevolent are just around the corner!

I agree. I bought a ton of cans of Lake Effect at the lcbo. If it would have been in bombers I wouldnt have bought any.

Are immodest and malevolent confirmed to be coming to the lcbo?

Yep, I'll probably buy one if I see it, just to compare to previous. If it were in cans....it'd be much like my lake effect purchases, easily into double digits.
Are immodest and malevolent coming in cans?

Immodest is coming to the LCBO, I haven't heard a word about Malevolent....maybe thats at the brewery

As far as bombers of of Robohop are concerned, I will certainly pick it up fairly often while its around. It is what I would expect to pay for a bomber of DIPA south of the border and you can find Robohop bottled within a week or two on shelves. Also, IMO its a terrific DIPA so I have no problems with the price point or format.

The price point is only glaring to me because it's so much cheaper at the brewery in cans. But if you want a good IIPA and you can't make it to GLB to get cans, the bombers in the LCBO are your best option in the province, imo.

NB told me today Immodest at their brewery next week, LCBO shortly thereafter. Malevolent at their brewery in two weeks and will not be at the LCBO.

Anyone have a scoop on whether or not Hanlon's Point will indeed be released in March of 2016 as indicated on the brewery site?
