growlers are a half gallon, so that's 50 gallons, or 5x what we made for cask days. i'd need more fermenters...

or maybe we just need to convince one of the locals to let me brew a batch on their system. that'd be a treat!

Sounds like a plan, but we might contaminate their tanks with hops!

Perhaps somewhere with a bottling line... at over 10%, a growler would put be on my ass!

I'd say you're welcome, but it wasn't available at my session. Figures...

Was the Biergotter Imperial Porter only available at the Saturday night session? If so, then I can't say I feel so bad about having to miss out on the Redux... :)

yeah, we had three pins: two redux, one porter. the first and third session got redux, and the porter went on for the second session. the porter actually didn't sell out in session 2, so those in the sunday session got to have a little of that one before the redux got tapped, but missed out on the monk's elixer which ran out at about 9pm in session 2.

The Porter was lovely, great job. Some day I've got to find a way to try that Hopocalypse! (Saturday night session for me).

Ya, when I tried to get the Monk's Elixir late in the Saturday night session, I was too late. But instead I got another Impy Porter, so I had nothing to complain about. :)

Question. Was this the third annual Cask Days, or the fourth? Having a brain cramp.

Third. First year had a smaller glass and a day-long drizzle, second year the full pint glass & first appearance by Dieu du Ciel!, and this year t-shirts that left me feeling a tad envious...

There was also a "cask situation" sometime in the spring/summer of 2006.
