Seriously? How about this... buy as many as you damn well please and support good beer being brought in. Somebody on here didn't get some? Share if you can spare it and they ask nicely instead of whinging on about it. Easy right? FFS!

I'd say cleaning out a store is kinda rude.

Almost as rude as not tipping.

hmm.
so what should we do?
If there are 24 buy only 12
if there are 12 buy only 6
if there are 2 buy only 1
and if there is only 1 buy it, but wait in the parking lot to split it with the next 3 guys to come in wanting some?

I find it a bit odd that on one hand we bitch and moan about the inefficient nanny state overlords at the BO and in the next thread we bemoan the lack of socialist bread line behaviour that ensures everyone gets a morsel.
I am sure the powers that be could put a rationing system in for a few mill?

It's just beer, buy as much as you want.
If it's good beer, go early and buy more.
If you can't go early, get a new job as a waiter/bartender and then take your high wages and undeserved tips and go at 10AM and buy them out.

It's Friday night, now log off and go out and get drunk like I'm about to do
^love this^ 8)

Folks, please keep this thread on topic - i.e. specifically discussing the beers in the Spring release, and where they are available.

Discussions about whether or not it's OK to buy all of particular beer at a particular LCBO location are frankly a waste of time. Similar discussions in the past have generally led to unproductive arguments and name calling. If you'd like to go down that route, please start another thread.

Any further posts in that vein in this thread will be deleted.

Sorry Greg -

Panil is in the system (though no stock yet) - what's interesting is that it's showing 9.6 abv.

I remember being 8% last year - wonder if that's a typo...Man, it's so good and sour! I can't wait!

Prediction: Mikkeller doesn't show up. In terms of releases, it always seems to be smaller European breweries who slip through the cracks.

I just kinda winged it and went to a LCBO that usually gets good stuff......alas they had nada....I wanted something, anything....

Oh well maybe they just haven't unloaded it there yet....I just wish I could find all of what I want in one LCBO, :( Does anyone think this will be possible??

Bought some stuff anyway...but not the spring release stuff...

Cheers,

Thanks for telling me this is sour :D I hadn't heard of it ...I'll add it to my ever growing list of choices.

It's expensive, but really really nice - my only regret last year is I didn't cellar any...

Same, that being said I only bought four bottles. This year I'll be getting a case of 12 and cellaring hopefully half the case.

Just checked LCBO's website, everything I want is at Queen's Quay. Noteable exceptions, the Mikkeller code comes up "not found" and the Panil is just not in any store at all...... :-?

Do they have a big parking lot at Queen's Quay? I've never been there, don't like driving in that area at all......traffic.

Ditto. I drive in from Brampton. Drives my wife nuts that we have to go there. She sends our seven year old in with me, just so I don't spend too long in there!
