Peche Mortel vs Yeti
Both good but I preferred the Yeti...actually forgot how nice of an impy it is and often overlooked thanks to the Oak Aged version.

Got around to trying the Fuller's ESB last night, it was great, tasted very fresh.

Got out of work early and drank the first pint of Texas Tea on Volo's sunny patio. Its an awesome cask beer with lots of similarities to Mill Street's Milk Stout, but with a bit more mineral quality to it. Neustadt strike me as an Ontario brewer which doesn't get a lot of press, but produces some damn fine beers. I'll hav to revisit their canned lineup.

Quite enjoying a bottle of my new favourite beer - Stone Ruination.
The most perfectly balanced IPA I have known.
Returned this week from a stateside vacation and my diet is going to hell for the goodies I returned with.

Passed by Victory in the later afternoon and had a superb pint of Compass Empire. It had a clean, rounded, English palate, hop-edged yet malty, and got better as it got warmer. A bonus was running into the always affable Nick Pashley.

Sgt. Major's - the current Summerhill stock was bottled at the end of March and provides an excellent hop fix. I also had a Tin Whistle Chocolate Cherry Porter, which was okay but nothing special.

Had a bomber of Oak Aged Yeti to myself last night. This is a great imperial stout in every way, seem to take for granted as it is always on the shelf at Premiere Gourmet.

I felt like a stout, but nothing imperial... so I went for my last Rogue Chocolate... best before 30J06, but still great.
Hopefully the LCBO will bring this one back. This would've been so much better than that Kell's irish lager... it's a stout (for St. Patty's day) and it has chocolate (Valentines), but above all it's just awesome!

You got that right, DerBear. I'm all for paying 5-7 bucks for a Rogue bomber, but it might as well be something more than a great lager.

Last night La Fin Da Monde, Maudite and a Thomas Hardy's Ale 07...can't say the Hardy's is growing on me, I don't think it will improve that much in the next 10 or 20 years to make me not regret the 2 cases I stocked up on.
