Finally having my Bush Pilot Stormy Monday tonight

Addendum: I really haven't had much barley wine in my time. I'm enjoying this. Makes me wish I had bought a couple so I could have again in a couple of years.

Grabbed the cans today at a Burlington LCBO, so it makes sense the cans would be super fresh; they're dated Jan 12th.

Just the label has changed as far as I know. I haven't had it in a long while though, and this one is tasting great for sure.

Had it there too.

Now: Samichlaus 2012... I really like Schloss Eggenberg's beers.

I also try to braise a blade roast in some leftover Eight Ball Stout, I think Josh R had mentioned that brisket was good braised in Brooklyn Black chocolate Stout. The flavor is pretty good! You just want a very rich sweet stout that is not hoppy.

Beau's Bottle Imp - sorry all the Beau's haters out there, I found this quite good

Yeah, the draft list was pretty good on my last visit, which is nice to see now that most of the U.S. treats are gone and don't appear to be coming back. Actually, aside from the New Holland and Stillwater beers, the bottle list is looking kinda sad these days. But beerbistro is still worth a visit now and then, and I'm always happy with the food and service (esp. at the bar).
