Ya, this gueuze could have the opposite effect - hang around on the lcbo shelves for ages so they never order more

And then the LCBO will conclude no one liked gueuze after all. Then some importer will pull in a small order of 3F it will sell like hot cakes and they'll be lost again. It really is too bad no one writes about beer or that there aren't any sites with large reserves of reviews and ratings to correlate between what you are selling and perceived quality. Just a real shame... maybe someone ought to start Beer Spectator so they aren't so lost. :roll:

^ I can promise St. Louis Gueuze will fulfill that expectation. It almost hints at bretty. musty dusty oak barrel and sour flavors but it's super diluted with a 'hollow' body and strange sweet flavor ruining any promise of an even okay Gueuze.

Good lord, what a jaded bunch (save for Craig, it seems)! There are quite a few tasty beers in the release and I am looking forward to trying them!

not to be rude, but i was in buffalo a week ago and this list is pure shit compared to what buffalo's "spring release" will be.
i spent $200 in Buffalo while using self restraint.
you think you could even come close to $100 with this release?

Point taken, although there are a few beers in there that I might really enjoy, so "pure shit" doesn't quite cover it. I would say however that it does reflect certain bureaucratic laziness and inertia on the part of the LCBO, thank you.

And not everyone has the ability to a) go to Buffalo regularly and b) drop $200 at once on beer.

then go spend $50 in Buffalo on stuff that's better than what's available for $5-10 at the 'BO.
or don't spend $$ on meh IPAs that likely aren't remotely punchy or fresh when you buy it.
or just buy more Trafalgar beer to support "craft beer"'.

Probstk is in Ottawa (as am I). Buffalo is pretty far from us. Of course, we can go to Bear World to get different brands of months old IPAs...
