Where are they?

First post on the Bartowel. Anyway, I used to love getting the 750ml bottles of the Iron Duke and the Imperial Stout. About 2004 I noticed them less and less at the LCBO. Now, I never see them. Discontinued?

Welcome Brian.
Unfortunately, you're right, discontinued maybe almost two years ago now. I found some about a year ago up at Weston rd. / 401, but that was the last I ever saw of them. At least the 6 packs are still around, although I see the Iron Duke has been discontinued on the LCBO site...

... while it still appears at many Beer Stores, correct?
(Hey Brian from the Hammer, welcome to the site.)

I am having my first one in a couple of years. I thought it would be a solid gesture to the company and to the Beer Box.
Has anyone seen any of these new beers yet that the LCBO is supposed to be getting?

The nice lady at my local LCBO is going to call me when the shipment comes in...

On the topic of Headstrong, there seems to be a new batch in at the LCBO which is, IMO, even better than ever because it is nice and fresh. It is marked on the side of the label as "crafted on" March 06. It seems to be more complex than usual and thoroughly enjoyable.

Certainly you would favor a high-turnover store that has fresh stock put out every day, especially for exposed-bottle displays like Headstrong Pale and the ** BRAND NEW ** Headstrong Munich Lager.

I purchased some of that Munich style today...won't be trying it until tomorrow...any comments about it? I'm a big fan of the Pale Ale.

It's a subtle but pleasant lager. I suspect it'll be a regular in my fridge in the warmer months.
