Also playing MLB 10 on the PS3 and Fallout 3 on the PC.

Is fallout 3 worth picking up? Reviewers are great but many gamer friends have complained about very slow story and advancement.
I think it's a bonus to have a game last a long time. Makes the money spent on the game worthwhile. It's a huge area to roam around with plenty of buildings and subways to explore. If you've ever played Oblivion, the gameplay is similar to that.

I throughly enjoyed it, hard for me to say if you would like it or not, what other games have you really liked?

I like all games. Mostly horror and RPG. I have Silent Hill Homecoming, Bioshocks, Condemneds, Jericho, Gears of War, Assassins Creeds, Halo 3, Deep Space, Bayonetta, Oblivion, Resident Evil 5......

I think you would really enjoy it based on the other games you like.
The story is dark, and it looks like you would appreciate that.
You should be able to pick up the game of the year edition for pretty cheap.

Ok thanks.
I usually get my games cheap. I either buy them at pawn shops, where you can talk them down, and also pay no tax. Or, I will go to EB games and look for multiple copies of the game, and usually you'll find one that has a cheaper sticker on it due to a mistake, and then I buy that copy. It is how I got Bioshock 2 for $7.99. The most I've paid for any game is $20.00.

Wah, good deal.

This is for PC or console?

I don't think I've paid less than $40 for a game in years.

X box 360. I never buy new. Just used games. You can find new games at pawnshops that crackheads have pawned off, and you can always talk them down and pay no tax.

That's a great game. It's a beast once you start progressing though.

I've been playing Empire Total War, and some WOW like usual.

It is a very slow start, and it does drag on a bit, but having completed it, I can say its one of the better xbox titles I've ever played. I liked more in fact that bioshock.

Well, if you're looking at it as a money paid vs hours of entertainment you're laughing, pick up both RDR and Fallout.

And they say crack doesn't do anything positive for the community.

The gameplay or the system drain? I got pretty far last night but turned it off because I thought my laptop was going to burn a hole in my desk. Gameplay wasn't effected, but temperature was too high for my liking.

Yeah, I'm a HUGE TW fan. Might download Empire this weekend when I get back from Mondiale. Also, can't wait for Civ 5.

I sometimes enjoy a ice cold PBR at the Steinway Beer Garden in GTAIV. There, now the thread is back on track! :D
