Thanks. They never did return my email so I'll try calling. I'm heading there next weekend, what sort of stuff do they sell?Swampale wrote:Yes they do.
it's his home (not a store or something), so i always confirm with him before heading there to pickup. that's a good plan just to confirm that the stuff is in stock and that he'll be around for you to get it.elproducto wrote:How safe is it to drop-in to pick up pre-ordered supplies from Randy at CHS in Brampton? He hasn't returned any of my emails or phone calls this week, and I'm planning on making a long trip to pick up my order tonight.
His hours say every night from 6-8pm, I'm assuming that means he's there?
Good advice, thanks. It's a long drive for me, and I don't want to show up for nothing. Kind of dissapointed, was really hoping to brew this weekend.grub wrote:it's his home (not a store or something), so i always confirm with him before heading there to pickup. that's a good plan just to confirm that the stuff is in stock and that he'll be around for you to get it.elproducto wrote:How safe is it to drop-in to pick up pre-ordered supplies from Randy at CHS in Brampton? he's always answered email and/or calls within a day (often same-day), so if he's not answering it's possible he's traveling or something... i'd wait for confirmation before driving out there.
What is your recipe? What do you still need for your brew day?elproducto wrote:Good advice, thanks. It's a long drive for me, and I don't want to show up for nothing. Kind of dissapointed, was really hoping to brew this weekend.
It's all working out in the end. I didn't end up going, but I have a friend from PS who is heading down for a wedding and is picking up some yeast from Randy. He's going to pick up my supplies.cannondale wrote:What is your recipe? What do you still need for your brew day?elproducto wrote:Good advice, thanks. I did call the chap at BrewPlus in Barrie. He wants 7$/liter of Malt Extract. Not sure how that works out in pounds.
Good stuff. Now get yourself a 50+ quart coleman extreme cooler and get that MLT made so you can stop monkeying around with extracts.elproducto wrote:It's all working out in the end.
