"Grain To Glass" December 6, 2010

Dogfish Head Brewery is enlisted to create a beer made from cedar scraps from used hand-made surfboards. Problems arise, however, after the brewery's Quality Control flags over 9,000 gallons of their signature beer, 120 Minute IPA.

I Liked this episode, not because of the Grain To Glass brew, but rather learning about brewing 120 Minute IPA... I really want to try one.

The first four episodes have been pretty good, sad to see all that 120 go down the drain. Sam alluding to making beer history by brewing with cedar seemed a little odd since Hitachino and Cigar City are already doing it.

The show should be good for anybody applying to DFH in the future.. High five skills are a MUST!

The press info about the Canadian premiere referred to it as a seven episode series. Could be that the US network is holding the last 2 until after the holidays.
