Hmmm...semi-good call. Great beer, but not as cheap as you think it is when measured on a price per volume basis. The German beers such as Dab, Furstenberg Pils, Konig Pils, Radeberger Pils, and Wernesgruner Pils are a much better value on a price per volume basis and might even be more appropriate for the season we are heading towards.

you mean another winter?
I don’t care what the U.N. says, I don’t recognize countries that don’t produce beer.

In Sinha's defence here, Scottatron did list "most flavourful" as a requirement.

I do not think I have had this. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

But volume of what? Water is really cheap... but there's not much flavour.

I was thinking abv was a good measure, assuming it's not overly adjunct ridden.

Though if you like hops, maybe you should consider value per IBU? Tree's Double Hophead might be hard to beat.

I'd add Budvar from the Czech Republic which has been $2.15 for a 500ml can for the last couple of weeks.

LOL! I can actually drink all those German beers on a hot day, although I admit they are not dripping with flavor. After further thought and considering some of your metrics, the now defunct Liberty Ale was a tremendous value! $3.80 for a 650ml bottle of 6% world class beer that had great flavors.

This week upcoming Waterloo Wheat 500ml cans go on sale for $1.75. I personally love this beer and it's a steal at that price!! Needless to say, I know most of the Bricks' beers leave alot to be desired but I was glad I gave this one a shot.

Especially factoring in ABV, the 9% 750ml Fin du Monde at $5 is a pretty good deal.

Right now...

Phillips Amnesiac and LTM Rauchbier on clearance at Crossroads LCBO ( Weston / 401 ). Both marked for $5.50. There were maybe 10 Phillips left but only two LTM.

I don`t think it`s been delisted... the Maudite and Blanche de Chambly have been, as noted in a post on here. LCBO site still has Fin du Monde as a listed product.

Not so fast my miserly friend.

DUGGAN'S #9 IPA comes in at $9.95/6 pack. Thats $1.65/ 275 ml bottle.

That's 0.006 cents per ml.

Sinha's 330 ml bottles also come in at 0.006 cents per ml.

WE HAVE A TIE!!!
(even though i'll take Sinha over Duggan's any day).
